The United States of America has been acting hostile against the Iranian nation since 1979. Some of US atrocities against Iranians are briefly listed below:
- The CIA coup against Iranian Nationalization of Oil in 1953.
- Supporting Saddam Hussein during the Iran-Iraq war.
- Directly engaging the war on the Iraq side and attacking Iranian ships and oil platforms in 1987.
- Shooting down an Iranian Civilian Airplane IR655 in 1988 killing 299 people on board including 60 children.
- Imposing economic blockade and trade embargo.
- State sponsored systematic propaganda against Iran & Iranians.
- Sponsorship of terrorist groups that are responsible for death of civilians and Iranian security forces; the latest group is Jondollah.
- Constant threatening Iran to the degree of harassing a nation with military invasion.
- Punishing nations and entities that deal with Iran.
- Blocking Iranian assets and properties.
- Sponsoring budgets to topple the Iranian regime.
There are many other items that can be added as examples of U.S. discrimination of the Iranian nation.
The latest economic sanctions, supported by satellite countries have been aiming to isolate not only the Iranian regime, but also to harm the Iranian nation harming small businesses and ordinary people.
We, the co-signers of this petition ask for a consensus among people of the world that know Iran as a civilization with more that 7000 years of history. Iranians have been contributing to betterment of human lives. US's hostile acts can only create hatred and cause extremism.
We hereby urge all related organizations to take action and forward our wish to stop discrimination against the Iranian nation to their local officials and authorities.
Peace & Love.
