Many of the car enthusiasts throughout this great nation have been receiving less than fair treatment from law enforcement officers for having done modifications to their road driven vehicles. These modifications are being referred to as "street racing modifications". We feel this less than fair treatment and will have no effect on street racing due to the fact that a totally unmodified road driven vehicle can just as easily race another totally unmodified road driven vehicle on a public street, highway, avenue, or race track. A car enthusiast should not be classified as a street racer or treated as a street racer by law enforcement officers from the appearance or sound of their car.
