Condemn Conspiratorial Rhetoric

In this era of misinformation, infinite streams of vitriolic incitement and hate speech remain accessible to any person with access to any of the mediums of our society's communications.
While seemingly little can be done to monitor the spread of virulent anti-Semitism across the cavernous realm of the world-wide web, it is the duty of all responsible people in any civil culture whenever possible to inhibit the flow of rhetoric that leads to ignorance, and the ignorance that leads to hatred.
When the publishing industry overlooks the danger of releasing incendiary literature, printing it en masse for public consumption, it is a stain on any free society. Thus, it is the charge of all activists and organizations to prevent any publication laden with a cavalier attitude regarding the resurgence of anti-Semitism to go unchecked, or at least uncommented upon.
Since The Big Book of Jewish Conspiracies (St. Martin's Publishing), a book of over 250 pages satirizing the myths and libels against the Jewish people throughout history has recently been released to public acclaim without compunction by its authors or criticism by its industry, we, the undersigned, call upon the Anti-Defamation League to condemn this book in the strongest possible terms.
The legitimization of machinated fabrications such as the Elders of Zion and the creation of new anti-Semitic myths, even through the lens of satire, is not only far from humorous, it is dangerous and emboldening to those who have already chosen to serve as detractors and slanderers to the Jewish communities across the world.
We call upon the Anti-Defamation League to issue a censure of this book without hesitation.
