We, the undersigned, believe that David Stern should step down as commissioner of the National Basketball Association. He has been running the NBA into the ground further and further over the last several years. Attendance numbers, television viewers, and overall revenue has dwindled over this time. With the completely disgusting way he has handled the recent situation with the Seattle SuperSonics and their potential relocation, David Stern has shown that he simply does not care about the NBA fans any longer. He has tried to handle the NBA as a ruthless, cut-throat business practice and these tactics have backfired greatly, causing the fans to turn their backs on him and having him, in fact, lose money. It is for these reasons that we, the undersigned, believe that Mr. Stern is no longer competent of running the National Basketball Association and should therefore step down as commissioner.
