Please don't rebrand blogger. Please don't rebrand "Us".
You know we love you right?
That's the reason why we are making this petition and fiercely fighting your desire to turn us into "Google Blogs".
We the bloggers over at blogspot.com or blogger.com wish to inform you that we love the blogger and blogspot brand more than we like the "Google Blogs" brand.
It's not you, it's us.
For instance listen to this, "We are bloggers".
Contrast that with, "We blog at Google blogs".
We're just letting you know that we love the blogger brand. We can understand your narcism and intense desire to keep up in the social arena. We can also understand your need to come up with a unified Googly approach in everything.
That's why you need to slap the Google brand over many of your products like:
- Google Sites
- Google Maps
- Google Video
- Google Earth
etc.
But blogger should remain as blogger.
It's us. We are bloggers. Take it away, turn it into Google Blogs and we become your pseudo underpaid Google employees.
