Petition for the repeal of anti pedophilia based on better growth of young and approved on Thursday 15 December 2010 in the prefecture of Tokyo in Japan.
The petition seeks the right to freedom of expression for authors and illustrators of manga in Japan (popularly called mangaka).
The petition is not intended as an affront to the projects of UNICEF, but an opportunity to study andbetter assess the the situation in which this law is .
The bill is ambiguous and based on this law, not just manga and anime will be thrown out of the shelves, but also the games that are based in this style. An example is the game Jump Ultimate Stars, which offers no apology for pedophilia, but nevertheless will be taken from sales that is based on some comics that were censored by the new law.
This petition is not meant to obstruct the sovereignty and the decisions taken in the Japanese parliament, but asked to be given (minimum) a plebiscite for the entire world population, since the UNICEF projects are valid for the whole world, and this law may cause serious problems as many people to prison for just possessing such material, which in Brazil has a sentence of 1 to 3 years in prison. and seeing that people would be unneeded prisons.
