Dear Prime Minister Stephen Harper
We write to express outrage at your governments response to the destruction leveled by Israel on the innocent civilians in Palestine and Lebanon. It is with great sadness that we learn of the deaths of seven Canadians in Israeli rocket attacks in Lebanon. Israels response has been illegal, brutal and disproportionate. Canadians expect their government to reflect our strongly held values of fairness, and justice and to uphold our obligations to international law. They also expect their government to defend and protect their citizens overseas. We think your government is irresponsible and unacceptable.
