Do not allow people to openly cross over from POK to India

To: Honorable Home Minister of India

Sir

We understand that your esteemed office is planning to facilitate the return of Kashmiri youth who crossed over to Pak-Occupied-Kashmir. Through this petition, we want to express our strong opposition to the said plan.

This plan is laden with a huge security risk to our nation. While we support all steps to bring normalcy in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, and strongly demand for steps for complete integration of the state to the Republic of India, we believe that compromising the security of the nation is not a price that should be paid for such efforts.

Some youth of Jammu and Kashmir state crossed over to Pakistan, and areas occupied by Pakistan, with the sole intention of causing destruction in our beloved country. These people betrayed their own nation and brought in extreme violence to our homes. These people are responsible for last twenty years of blood bath in whole of India in general, and Jammu and Kashmir in particular. How would you be able to ensure that they have now had a major change of heart, and are suddenly now completely loyal to our country? If you can't be certain, it would be hara-kiri to create a safe passage for them to come back and spread more hatred.

Moreover, there is no record of the youth who actually belong to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It will not be possible for anybody to differentiate the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, from those of POK or other adjacent parts. Hence, allowing Kashmiri youth to come from POK to India, would be opening an official channel for more terrorists to enter our country and bring in more bloodshed and cause even greater havoc than what we have witnessed in the last two decades.

Last, but not the least, why is the Government of India so keen on rehabilitation of traitors who brought so much death and destruction to our country, while the loyal Indians - Kashmiri Pandits, who are the worst affected victims of Pak-sponsored terrorism, are still languishing out of their homeland? While our loyal citizens live a life of refugees in their own country, we strongly oppose any move to open our country to the risk of further plunging into a state of complete mayhem.

We hope our representation brings in some sanity of thought and this completely uncalled for step to facilitate the return of terrorists is taken back immediately.
