This petition is to stop the National Hockey League from entertaining the idea of selling all of the 30 teams to two (2) Boston-based firms for 3.5 billion dollars. The deal isn't even worth it. Forbes magazine listed all 30 teams were worth 4.9 billion before the lockout began. There are owners out there that are living out a boyhood dream to own a professional hockey team. Let's not add to the loss of the 2004-05 season by watching our teams get sold!!

You have already messed up the NHL for years to come, dont screw it up more. Makiing the Nhl into a family show is not the way to go.
