Daylight Savings Time needs to come to an end. It does not save time. It does not create more daylight. It does not add any hours to the day. All it does is shift when we wake and when we go to bed in relation to when the sun is up, and messes with our internal clocks.
Less than half the world follows this ridiculous practice as it stands. Some countries skew time more towards a permanent DST, while others skew more towards ST. By splitting the difference between DST and ST, and leaving the clocks the same year round, we would stop the confusion, stop the stress, and bring stability to our lives.
