Extend Queensmill School for autistic children to cover ages 3 to 19

We celebrate the excellent provision of primary education by Queensmill School in Hammersmith and Fulham and the huge difference it has made to many autistic children and their families. We are concerned about the lack of secondary provision for autistic children in south-west London. We do not want the children who are currently at Queensmill to regress through lack of suitable educational opportunities, or to have to spend inappropriately long amounts of time travelling. We urge Hammersmith and Fulham Council to take the unique opportunity to extend Queensmill Primary School to cover ages 3 19, and offer autistic children in this and neighbouring boroughs the opportunity to be the best they can be.
