Filipino Youth: On Making a Difference

Dear Friends and Comrades,
The Youth - We have been the part of history and future foretold. As our great hero Dr. Jose Rizal, he told that the "Youth Will be the Hope of Our Nation." However, look around you. Look around the youth that we have. Kids and teenagers alike abusing drugs; Adolescents succumbing on cigarettes and alcohol; Young men and women stealing from other people for a living or just for fun. Will this youth be the one who will helm our future?
In accord to this, I wish to persuade my fellow youth to make a move for this cause. We plan to organize an event that will showcase the OPM bands talents on music. At the same time, we hope that the said bands would be giving their insights to inspire the youth on making a difference and not just living as a mediocre citizen of our nation. The youth can live a better live, deserves education, need to be inspired by the ones they idolize. We start by making things right - by becoming the influence we need to be. An inspiration to progress, not poverty.
With this, we move a common goal - that is to inspire the youth to make a difference in their own ways. But to do this, we need to first organize the event. Since this event will be hard to organize alone, we call for your support to help us organize this event. Your contribution is highly needed since this will be our fight. We wish you can help us with the sponsors, the bands who can perform in the event, the place to hold the event and people who can speak for the enlightenment of our youth. :D
