Fire Gerald Myers

As the head of the Texas Tech athletic department, Gerald Myers must be held accountable for the firing of Mike Leach. Though the reasoning behind his suspension may have been warranted (as per university policy), firing him was clearly a mistake. Texas Tech itself has suffered a significant loss by removing one of the most influential and productive coaches in school history. This mistake will cost the school millions of dollars and thousands of loyal fans if not corrected immediately and decisively. Though we respect the service of Gerald Myers in the past, it is evident that he no longer possesses the ability to lead the school's athletics department.
