We, the residents and visitors to the State of Florida have generated this petition in an effort to introduce a USO license plate for motor vehicles in Florida.
USO stands for United Service Organizations, a non-profit organization that serves Americas armed forces. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of our military personnel and families, serving approximately 120,000 people in Florida.
Proceeds from the purchase of this plate will serve to benefit the USO in Florida and allow us to continue to serve our armed forces and their families. The USO is not a government agency. It is a nonprofit, charitable organization and relies on donations from private citizens and corporations.
