Force Microsoft to Recall Defective Xbox consoles

MicroSoft is covering up known issues with defective xbox gaming console that could result in fire or death.

Microsoft has bucked up and will provide a new power cord free of charge to people who own an xbox console that was manufactured before October 23, 2003, your console requires a replacement cord (except for consoles purchased in Continental Europe, where consoles manufactured prior to January 13, 2004 require a replacement cord). Consoles manufactured after October 23, 2003 (after January 13, 2004 for consoles purchased in Continental Europe) do not require replacement cords because design improvements to the cord and console already protect against the problems that are addressed by the replacement cords.

Here is the problem if you are one of those people who would rather not be the 1 person out of 10.000 that have their homes catch on fire and would rather keep your family alive. The problem isn't the cord! Its the Power supply unit inside the machine it's self. The cord they will be sending you is just a fail safe and when your xbox shorts out "and it will" the cord will act as a breaker and prevent your house from burning to the ground. Or will it? I would rather just be 110\% sure that my xbox is going to remain just a gaming console and not Pandoras box.
