Formal Complaint against Dr Rory O'Connor

To whom it may concern, The class IT2014CCT, after several informal attempts to solve this issue, have decided to formalize a complaint about Dr. Rory O'Connor. For the past six months, we have been informally complaining about his engagement with our class, his lack of commitment, politeness and outdated methodology had made our learning curve severely degrade. During the past semester, he had not adapted to our class, even though we had given him all the chances we could. Rory is extremely rude, condescending, made personal attacks (won't name the student - but one student went to the college to ask Rory about his grade and how he could have improved and Rory lost patience and threatened to lower this student's grade if he didn't leave him alone). Constantly contradicts information said regarding the projects, there is feedback given whastover - isn't open (or maybe isn't of knowledge) to different methods, argues constantly with students, course is very unclear but he won't answer questions directly, etc. Just generally very unprofessional and rude. Service being delivered to us is not of appropriate standard for what we are paying for. We are writing this letter with the hope that our complaint as class about Dr. Rory O'Connor will be resolved for our final year. The resolution that we feel is fair and appropriate, and will amend the issues is for us to be assigned another lecturer during the duration of our final year commencing this September. We appreciate the time you have taken to read this petition and consider the grievance that we have contacted you about. We would like to have this resolved as quickly as possible so that we all can better fully focus on our studies and completing our Bachelors of Science Degree in Information Technology.
