"fRee co Tax" (friendly enewable environmental eco tax used cigarette filter)

Hello, for those of you that don't know me, my name is David J. Calis . I am starting this petition so we can start a "Collection & Recycling program for used cigarette filters." This petition is to propose that for every cigarette sold in CANADA, and hopefully the United States, and the rest of the World to follow. Manufacturers of cigarettes will pay a 10 cent "fRee co Tax" ( friendly Renewable environmental eco tax ) for each and every cigarette sold. Also, the tobacco industry will not raise the sale price of cigarettes. This "fRee co Tax" will be taken out from the revenue of all cigarette manufactures. Smoker or not this "fRee co Tax" will we beneficial to all while transitioning into a smoke fRee World. The "fRee co Tax" will be used to fund a collection & recycling program for used cigarette filters, help clean up our natrual water sources and vital farmlands, preserve wildlife, as well as be used to give a cash refund for collected and returned used cigarette filters. This program will give a 5 cent refund for each and every used cigarette filter that is collected and returned for recycling. The "fRee co Tax" should be put into effect for many good reasons. Here are 5 good ones I could think of. ;-( For allowing the tobacco industry to sell a substance that is proven to cause death to our families and friends. Many of us have been touched by the loss of a loved one due to cigarette smoking. Even though I would love to see a smoke fRee world. This is not an anti smoking compain. It is just a way of taking one small step in many needed in becoming a healthier, positive, and more responsible country/world. ;-( Cigarette smoking and used cigarette filter pollution is the number one pollutant of our waters. On average 15 billion cigarette are smoked around the world in a 24 hour period. This is one of the few things that we have sadly, in common no matter our creed, race, or sex. ;-( Cigarettes also are one of the leading causes of toxic contamination to our vital farmlands, and most importantly to the destruction to our natural wildlife here on our planet. ;-) Cigarette smoking is also causing a tremendous economical and phsical strain to our healthcare system in CANADA, and I am sure to the rest of the world, causing us tax payers more money each and every year. ;-) Mostly, it is time the tobacco industry pays their taxes. The tobacco industry can afford to do there part, and take responsiabilty in making a Bluer, Greener, and Better World for All.
