Kim Dotcom was taken from his Auckland mansion for allegedly being an internet pirate.
He has been refused bail, has not had his day in court and is forced to watch from his cell as his property is confiscated and sold.
This is not the New Zealand way.
He appears to have been found guilty without a trial.
Whatever the truth, he deserved a fair go - it's the Kiwi way.
He should be released to be with his family and prepare his defense.
