With the introduction of nProtect GameGuard, MapleStory has lagged terribly so much that it caused inconvenience for the players. Through this program, what originally was enjoyable had become an annoyance. In addition to the lag, it created several errors for the players, who were unable to solve the issue and thus, making them unable to even play the game. It disconnects players randomly, causing frustrations of losing maps that they trained in for hours.
Not only that, it did not solve the issue of hacking. There are still hackers evidently seen, due to the usage of bypass. This program not only did not effectively solve the original problems, but instead, created more problems for legitimate players. Occasionally, it causes the whole program to freeze, resulting in us having to forcefully shut down our PCs and reboot them. In the past, users with better computers are able to open both MapleStory and another game (e.g Gunbound) or other stand-alone games. However, now we are unable to do so. GameGuard prevents certain games from starting and interferes with many kinds of unrelated software.
Not all of the problems that surfaced with the introduction of GameGuard are listed here, but I believe most have been mentioned. If the staff are willing to take a look at the Technical Support section of the forums, you will see issues after issues that the players have, yet so many are still unsolved. Therefore, we would hereby like to request for the improvement of the program itself and more technical help on lag, disconnect issues etc. or remove GameGuard totally. Gameguard disconnects my internet...even with Flyff. The first time I went on it was fine then the next day Maple didn't work at all. It's very frustrating

my gameguard folder has nothing in it and when i run ms it says theres a server check but when i check the website it says there isn't and this has been going on for a week now and i can't maplestory.

i continue to get the gameguard errors and therefore it won't allow me to play maplestory or maplesea. i can't disconnect my Firewall for the gameguard, which says it is the collision, for i need firewall to protect my computer.. im highly annoyed at game
