We have now hit $0.999 cents, this converts to $3.79 a US Gallon

Attention: SHELL, ESSO, PETRO CANADA, ULTRAMAR, TEXACO, CANADIAN TIRE, CREVIER, CERTIGUARD, SUNOCO, OLCO, BEAVER, etc, and all other major or independent Gas stations, ARE YOU ALL OUT OF YOUR MINDS???
LOWER THE GAS PRICES NOW!!!

I am sick and tired of these gas companies playing YoYo with our heads, with our money and with our lives, from 89.9 cents TO 99.9 cents in JUST A FEW MINUTES. One day someone will end up getting hurt due to rage, and only then will the government take some kind of action.
It was illegal to price fix in the 50's & 60's I have been told, and to my knowledge anyone who is found of price fixing is supposed to get fined by the government.
I can't understand why we are in a city who play YoYo with these prices everyday, and strangely enough, ALL gas stations change their prices almost immediately once the other does it.
I have been told by many gas attendants who work at the various Shell's I go to that they get a "call" and then raise the price because someone told them to do it, this is due to the station across the street who changed its prices minutes or hours before.
I have literally seen a station attendant at a Shell get his binoculars out and look at the price of the Esso a little further down the road to see if their price went up, and sure enough a few minutes later his prices went up as well. I WAS SHOCKED, right before my very eyes!
WHO says its illegal to keep the prices at 79.9 if the guy across the street wants to raise his price to 89.9???
The government does not take too much action here because they make most of that money anyways, so of course it's NOT in their best intention to keep the prices down. Do you think that Shell or Shell's gas attendant would have got sued by the government because the price was not raised fast enough, or perhaps fired by Shell because of the same... I think NOT.
We are such a passive society that we sit and take it, and I hear it time and again... "Ahh what are ya gonna do, they are more powerful than we are" WELL of course they are if we do or say nothing, the prices will never come down or even stabilize at that.
There is ALWAYS a huge reserve for ALL the gas stations somewhere that should last months before the well goes dry, so to speak, so WHY will the gas price go up TODAY if that gas is pretty much paid for and will not be affected by today's gas hike at the barrel????
Gas Gouging is exactly what is going on, there is ABSOLUTELY no reason why gas prices should go up on a Saturday night... Has the barrel of gas mysteriously been hiked over the weekend by weekend stock holders meetings?
We are being taken for fools, plain and simple. Gas Companies are CROOKS, and we should all band together and force the prices down or have the government take legal action and leave prices at a decent level for all of us who need it to get to work or drive our children to school or care for the sick who need transportation to the hospital.
Both Gas companies and the government are to blame.
PEOPLE, wake up and make a stand.
