For all that Gene Roddenberry has done for the genre of Science Fiction, and his bringing together the human race, with no racial boundaries, I think a tribute is in order. He was a visionary well before his time. My idea would be convince SciFi.com to schedule a day, a marathon, of all of the Star Trek movies, TOS and TNG that were made, 10 in total. Ideally, it would be nice to do this, on the date of his death, October 24th. But I realize that most likely isn't enough time to get such a huge undertaking in that short of time. I would like to start a petition, to pass around to the millions of Star Trek fans, and hopefully this venture is something you could consider in the near future. Even though Gene is gone, his legend lives, and will live forever in our hearts, and beliefs for a better future. I know many of you, my friends, are not Star Trek Fans, but the shows that Gene made, gave us a yearning for the future, and what is out there in our stars. I'm sure very few of you haven't at one time or another, stood outside at night, gazing at those stars and planets, and wondered what is out there. I feel this petition carries on Gene's spirit. This takes a certain open, and futuristic mind to see what possible wonderful thing are in our, and our childrens future. Thanks for reading this, and I hope some of you will sign it. Thanks so much!!
