Georgia Employees Salaries and Jobs

We would like to ask to Georgia State Legislators to look at what the economy is doing to the employees of the state. These people provide services to the citizens of the state and they are being punished because they work for the state. They have families and need an income as well. Other businesses have raised prices, so can the state. A one percent per gallon on gas would not hurt anyone. Do away with the tax free holidays; that revenue is needed. Charge seven percent tax for all items; do away with the lower tax for certain things. We are not for raising taxes, only fairness. By doing these things, not only do residents of Georgia pay, so do visitors to the state.
We encourage you to look at other options than furloughs, layoffs, and salary cuts. Without these services, where will we be?
