Get Entertainment Businesses To Warn Customers About Strobe Lights Before An Event

The aim of this petition is to get enterrttainment businesses, such as Tiicketmaster, MCD, etc., to inform people of strobe lighting before concerts, etc. Preferably I would love to get these businesses to mention that there will be strobe lighting before purchasing tickets to events, however, I realise that most acts do not inform the venue of strobes until the day before/ day of the event. Therefore, I would like to try and get these businesses to put a warning up before buying tickets that strobe lighting may occur and, on the day before/ of the event, email those who have bought tickets and say that strobe lights have/have not been confirmed. It may also be a good idea to get these businesses to have a specific mailing list for those people effected by strobe lights so that this particular group of people can get the email/ notification they need prior to the event. If this works then it mean epileptics, or even those who are extremely sensitive to strobe lights, can have enough warning about the lighting and can therefore take tablets to lessen the impact of the lights, order more tablets, bring sunglasses with them, etc. Entertainment businesses fail to inform people if there are strobe lights at concerts, etc. until the time the event is due to start. In most cases we are warned about strobe lighting when we turn up at the venue and see an A4 typed up notice informing us that there are strobe lights, or perhaps we will only hear it on a voice over before hand, meaning we haven't had a chance to take tablets, sunglasses, or what ever it may be that we need, with us to the event, which can result in many of us suffering the sympthoms, whether this may be having a seizure or just having severe dizziness. This is a disgrace and these businesses should be legally obligated to inform customers about such issues, especially if we have spent a great sum of money to see such events. I want to try and get this started in the Uk and Ireland then get the ball rolling with this issue worldwide! Please help me spread the word around to as many people as possible. Together we may be able to change the way entertainment businesses act and get the issue out there and, hopefully, get our voices heard. The more people that know, the better. Please help me get as many signatures as possible to show these businesses that we are serious. Thank you.
