Dear Lorraine Rogers and the Tranmere board
John Achterberg has been a great servent to Tranmere over the past 9 years and due to medical reasons he has been released this summer. After 10 years of service at a club a player usually gets a testimonial, unfortunatly John has missed that by a matter of months.
I along with the undersigned plead with you to give John a testimonial, this is for 2 reasons 1. because he deserves one for his contribution to Tranmere Rovers and 2. to give the fans an opportunity to thank him for all the great moments he has given us.
Please consider this as I am sure you will see the feeling of the fans of Tranmere Rovers FC.
