Goldeneye 007 on the Wii VC

Goldeneye 007 was the undisputed best First-Person Shooter (FPS) game ever created. It was originally created for the N64 by the company Rare.

Since the release of the Wii, Nintendo has been re-creating old games on the Virtual Console (VC) for Wii owners to buy and download. However, Nintendo has indirectly hinted at not releasing Goldeneye on the VC.

Up to this point, there have been few good N64 games released for the VC. For example, Pokemon Snap. It was popular when it was first released, but who would buy it now? Aside from Zelda or Mario Kart, there are few games worth replaying.

Goldeneye, on the other hand, would be a great addition to the VC collection. It would be amazingly popular, and easily the most bought VC game. With this petition, I hope to bring it to Nintendo's attention that people DO want this game to be released on the VC.
