This is a copy of the letter I sent to Hilton Corp; address and instructions appended:
Fran O'Brien's Restaurant in the Washington, DC Hilton location should be given a special award for true American Patriotism. Instead the Hilton Hotels Corp is refusing to renew their lease.
This restaurant regularly hosts amputees from Iraq and Afghanistan and there are many veterans and veteran families and supporters throughout the greater Capital area, as well as in Congress.
Many major defense related corporations are also following this disturbing development - or soon will be.
You can turn this into a corporate 'plus' by renewing the lease immediately on favorable terms and rewarding the vets community and operators of this restaurant, - or you can make a major PR error with expanded consequences for shareholders and guests alike.
Your call.
Do the RIGHT thing.

This type of decisions seems to fly square in the face of your current ad campain. Amazing what the lack of forsight not coordinating with PA will do for you, let alone looking at a larger ring than the one the GM appears to be seeing.
