Honda Civic Si's Transmission

Honda is supposed to be one of the most reliable and most dependable companies in the auto industry. This is Honda's trademark, reliability a car you can rely on without having problems. I have heard these words from a lot of different people such as the dealership, my parents, grandparents, some friends. But a month after I bought my car I found that Honda did not live up to this.

Many people have been experiencing the notchyness or grinding of gears in the civic Si's 2002 up. When I brought my car into the dealer I had to hear that I abused the car. This happened at around 800 miles. It took them two weeks to rebuild my transmission. This was one month after I bought this car brand new. Tell me how Honda has lived up to its reputation of making the most reliable cars out there when I have to bring my car back after driving it less than 800 miles. Don't tell me I abused the clutch or that notchyness is normal because its not. When I visited a site called ephatch.com and talked to fellow Si owners I realized I was not the only one having these transmission problems.

All I ask is that Honda will correct this problem and give some kind of recall, something to fix this because my dealer says that if I experience problems with the clutch again which I am, I will have to pay for repairs. Honda has disappointed me with this and has made me regret buying an Si because of these problem. Honda chooses to ignore us and not look at the facts.
