House of Commons MP pay rate

As of 2010, the annual salary of each MP in the House of Commons is $157,731 CDN. Their annual pension amounts to $27000 after 6 years of service. I purpose that Members of Parliament salaries and pensions be cut in half (50%) They just are not worth the tax-payer money that they are getting. Scott Boa Ingersoll, ON
