"Student petition calling for a community meeting to discuss proposed changes to the Ontario College of Art & Design, Integrated Media department"
We are aware of recent discussions about the future of the Integrated Media Program (i.e. the possibility of dropping Electronics, Film and Sound courses from the curriculum and cuts to Sessional instructors).
We are concerned because these courses are important to our studies and we value the diversity and experience brought to OCAD by Sessional instructors.
We are disappointed that there has been no formal communication of these proposed changes to students.
We, the undersigned, request that the Chair of Integrated Media immediately schedule a community meeting and invite INTM students to provide constructive feedback regarding possible changes to our department.
