Jackals Creek Golf Estate - Stop removal of pets

In light of the recent letter sent out by the body corporate we need your help. The letter claimed that all owners/tenant with pets must have their pets registered with the body corporate before the 31st October. The letter claims, and I quote "The Body corporate will have the discretion to either fine or remove this animal after this date" if you should not register your pet.
If you do register you must know that you will only be allowed to keep this pet untill 30 September 2010. I quote the letter: "During this grace period of 12 months they must find their animal a new home or cancel their rental contract and find a suitable estate which allows pets. After 30 September 2010 all the pets left on the estate will be removed"
Make note this statement only indicates what tenants should do, what must a owner do in such a case? OR What someone should do should they not be able to get a home for their beloved animal? Should they have their animal put out?? Surely this pertains to animal cruelty..what do they mean with having the animal removed??????????? Make note that this request does not agree with the conduct rules all of us have received and signed when we first moved in, I quote:
...an owner who had previously optained permission to keep a carnivorous animal is entitled to such privilege until such time as the animal passes on" In other words if you have had an animal when you moved in the original rule state that you can keep this animal untill he/she dies of natural cause. So this recent letter conflicts with the original rule
Well...we ask you to please sign this petition if you disagree with the new rule. I will be handing this to the body corporate. Your assistance in this matter will help you and your furry friend.
