Jump the Shark

I want 'Jump the Shark' back!!!!! Anyone who visits TVGuide.com will NEVER know the true meaning of Jump the Shark. It is now only a mere suggestion of what it once was and what it should be. It is now nothing more than an INSULT to the original authors and visitors. This happens alot, when a big
conglomerate buys out the little guy and then DESTROYS the original concept.
Jump the Shark is/was a clever website that tallied votes (from you and me)
that decided whether a TV show had 'Lost it's way' so to speak. How and why it lost its way, or whether the show was still on the right track.
With the original Jump the Shark you could type in almost any TV Show past and present to see if people thought the show jumped and why. Not only could you vote on how/why the show jumped, you could read hundreds of posts about the show and why people thought it jumped or not. After being accquired by TVGuide.com this MASSIVE DATABASE is nowhere to be found!!!!
They 'killed the basic premise and destroyed this massive database' that was endless hours of FUN reading with people who shared your passion of a show. I would like to think that database is still out ther somewhere. Put 'Jump the Shark' back to what it is SUPPOSED to BE! Not some hollowed out mere SUGGESTION of what the original authors worked so hard to create!!!!
