We, Hindus and believers in religions of India, will accept Dr. M Karunanidhis (CM, Tamilnadu, India) insistence on taking a rational approach on Lord Rams existence, if he agrees to take a rational approach on our following request/demand:
We believe that Dr. M Karunanidhi was born out of wedlock and is not a legitimate child of his officially recognized father.
Dr. M Karunanidhi wants us Hindus to prove scientifically or logically that Ram existed. Similarly, we want Dr. M Karunanidhi to prove scientifically or logically that he indeed is the biological son of his officially recognized father.
Dr. M Karunanidhi should present paternity test results of his officially recognized father, or he should convince his mother to testify in Public. That would be scientific as well as logical.
Remember, mother is a reality, father is a faith always. It is just faith, and only faith, that makes Dr. Karunanidhi believe that he is indeed the biological son of his officially recognized father. Just like it is faith, and only faith, that makes millions of Hindus believe that Lord Ram was a real person.
Hope Dr. M Karunanidhi will respect our views and act in accordance with his rationalist behavior.

If one's father is not alive it is not a proof that he is really the son form the said father. What is the proof that jawarharlal Nehru was the real son of Motilal Nehru. As I read that jawarhalal's first 7 years of life are not clear in history.
