Keep Arts Therapy Eligible for Student-loans!

Hello Australian Citizens,

I sit here behind my laptop outraged, as I read and think of the possibilities that are to come from Arts Therapy being considered a lifestyle career, rather than the therapy of one's psyche via creative processes.
The Federal Government states that Arts Therapy must be revoked from student-loan schemes, due to it being a course of low employability and career pathway outcomes.
However, It's evidence-based that this course has employed and given a multitude of citizens/student a chance to work within Counselling, Welfare, Aged-care and youth by applying their knowledge of colour, movement and expression to not only be creative within a therapeutic environment but to help the mentally-ill, traumatized and even youth overcome any issues, so they too can have an opportunity to find work within a career of choice.
If they were to sever such a course for funding, there would be an incline on mental illness and decline of proper pain-management skills.
Why should people have to pay an excess of $10,000 to be able to study within a field that helps the mentality of others?
Is that what you want, Australia?

If you have an interest for the mentality, well-being and happiness of yourself and other people, I urge that you sign this petition in hopes that it reaches the federal government before the bill is passed.
Only we can make a difference, not as individuals but as a community.
