On August 14, 2001 McBee Elementary opened for it's first year to many excited and eager students. However for many children getting to and from school is a daily challenge, as they walk the dreaded Plains Trail! Prior to the opening of McBee our community voted in favor of sidewalks, but due to unimproved drainage the cost is more than usual. There is NO cost to great to keep our children safe. Let's not wait for one child to be injured. Thank you for your support.
