Dear animal lovers,
I have recently heard that in my county: Walworth County, Wiscosin, they will be setting up a new program for stray animals instead of Lakeland Animal Shelter. This program states that the stray animals brought to the facility will stay for only 7 days OR LESS then they will be euthanized. The Lakeland Animal Shelter is a wonderful low-kill shelter. Some dogs have been ther over a year. I have been volunteering there almost eight months and I have seen how well they care for their animals. Even if you do not live anywhere near Walworth County, I'm asking you to have it in your heary sign this petition and keep the Lakeland Animal Shelter running. I'm hoping if I get enough signatures, I can forward this to the County and get rid of the 7-day idea. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, and from all the dogs and cats that might have a second chance to live, for signing and making such a big difference. It will take only but a moment for you to save so many stray animals. Again thank you.
