To: All Elected and Appointed Political Leaders and Government Officials of the United States of America:
We, the citizens of the United States of America, come together, united in our cause, to protest the following:
"The 9th Circuit Federal Appeals Court in San Francisco has decreed that it is "unconstitutional" to recite the Pledge of Allegiance in schools and public gatherings, because it violates the separation of church and state."
We are appalled that any court in this nation would attempt to take "under God" out of our Pledge of Allegiance, or issue a ruling that the Pledge is not permissable in our schools or public gatherings.
We petition you to take whatever steps are necessary to overturn this decision of the 9th Circuit Federal Appeals Court, and to protect the Pledge of Allegiance from further attack.
