Keep us safe

All home owners have the right to feel safe in their own neighborhoods. City governements should not deliberately place city residents in mortal danger by their actions. We call upon the city government of the City of Vancouver Washington to repair the damage that they have done to our neighborhood and restore a measure of safety to the residents of NE 141st Aveenue. Specifically, the road NE 141st Ave is not wide enough to allow two vehicles to pass each other safely. Children walking down the road to and from school do not have a safe place to walk except on the roadway. The road surface is crumbling. Vehicle drivers are allowed to drive down the road at over 40 mile per hour which the city says is "not a problem".
