KHALID MAHMOOD MUST RESIGN

Khalid Mahmood, you are the Labour Party MP for Perry Bar, and you are a disgrace! Like all New Labourites, you follow the Bush/Blair agenda, despite the feelings of the Muslim community. Since 7/7 you have criticised almost every community organisation and personality by appearing on talk shows and news programs, yet you have not even once raised the possibility that Iraq is a contributing factor to the insecurity we face today.

Instead you slavishly defend your political masters!

Khalid Mahmood you MUST resign now! Your tacit support for Tony Blair is a disgrace! It is almost as if the government writes your speeches for you, and you simply execute them with robotic precision (give or take your grammatical gaffs and inarticulate prattling).


Some of your disgraceful actions to date are:

- You supported the war on Afghanistan
- You did not vote against the war in Iraq
- You voted for the terrorism bill
- You ridiculed the victory of Shabina Begum, the schoolgirl who won the right to wear the Islamic
jilbab in school
- You attacked Muslim groups for not attending the Holocaust Memorial Day

This clearly shows you, Khalid Mahmood, and the other MPs and Peers who happen to be Muslims, are the ones who are unrepresentative of Muslim feeling and opinion.

Therefore, we the undersigned believe:


1) Khalid Mahmood, and other Muslim Mps and peers, stand for the
established political parties and government alone, to do their
bidding and nothing else

2) Khalid Mahmood needs to resign immediately.

3) Khalid Mahmood should be tried for supporting Blairs war
crimes in Iraq.

We the undersigned also believe,

4) That the entire Muslim community in Britain has
been unjustly targeted through political opportunism
on the back of the bombings in London.

5) That the Muslim community has the right to express
its political grievances against British foreign
policy without being threatened with or labelled as
supporters of terrorism.
