I support the passage of legislation in the 109th Congress for the repeal of Social Security Government Pension Offset(GPO) and Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) as stated in House Bill HR 1690 introduced by Congressman Barney Frank. This bill replaces House Bill HR594 and Senate Bill S349 which were introduced in the 108th Congress by Congressmen McKeon/Berman and Senator Feinstein, respectively.
