We the undersigned signatories would like to see Ayrshire music talent represented adequately on WestSound / West FM.
We want Little Fire aka Jamie McGeechan to present a weekly new music radio show where the best in Ayrshire music talent is represented and played on air.
It's important that up and coming talented musicians and bands receive airplay and as we determine that there is a desire for the Ayrshire community in hearing talented local musicians and bands on our local radio station we demand that this is the case.
Little Fire is a singer songwriter from Ayr who champions grass roots music in Ayrshire. He is the new music columnist for the Ayrshire Post, Kilmarnock Standard and Irvine Herald. He does his own new music podcast featuring great new music talent from Ayrshire and champions new music talent.
He has been gaining in recognition in the Scottish music industry for his music and he is ardently passionate about the development and exposure of new music talent.
Little Fire would be an ideal presenter for a new music show on WestSound / West FM and we the undersigned would like to see this happen.

I agree that West FM does not adequately represent new music in and around Ayrshire, and instead acts as a networked station under Bauer Radio. Whilst I agree that this is necessary from an economic point of view, it shouldn't affect locally produced show
