We, the undersigned, are writhing to express our deep concern regarding a group of Iranian Kurdish refugees from Al-Tash camp: comprise of 57 men, 38 women, 99 children. These refugees have been waiting in NML - between Iraq and Jordan since January 2005- and they are still being denied entry by Jordanian authorities.
Nonetheless, not just the horrible circumstances: suspended case and unknown future, inhumane treatments, recently perilous security which is threatening these refugees' life, but also the extreme condition of the climate is deteriorating the already terrifying life of these desperate refugees.
Additionally, they lack or have little access to basic life necessities such as food, drinking water, shelter and medical assistances. Their movement is limited as they are living in NML.
The apathy of UNHCR towards these refugees fate and future however is expected to improve and respond to these refugees miserable condition which in itself requires all plausible judicious efforts, that is, through cooperation with the countries of resettlement find a viable solution for these refugees, humans lives. On the other hand, it would be the best if these refugees reunited with their families while almost all of them have relative in resettlements countries.
It is highly pointless not to reveal that these hopeless, homeless and helpless children, women and elderly refugees are forgotten victims of democracy.
Thats why we attach great importance to your human responsibility humanitarian compassion - to put an end to this miserable condition and safe the life of 194 human beings. There should be a place in our democratic societies for these victims, human beings.
