Mansun Reunion?

In a recent inerview Paul Draper said:
"Andie and myself would do a new Mansun tour and album anytime, Chad doesn't want to so all the fans will have to petition him."

And it got me thinking. This petition isn't only for Chad, but the band themselves. If you think they have the will, the determination, and are more than likely to succeed and sell out a tour in 2008, then what's stopping them?

There are probably more eager Mansun fans worldwide than you or I would like to think, despite the 5 year absence. There are still those fans out there who look deeper into every lyric sung, every guitar chord, every melody, every single time Mansun have helped them through times of need. If you are one of these people, then you're not alone. When I listen to a Mansun song I don't feel happy anymore, I just feel heartbreak. Why? Because the world is cruel, but the worst crime of all would be to let a bunch of immensely talented guys keep their musical talent hidden away.

I was shocked at Chad's dissaproval of himself coming back to the music industry. On personal opinion, no guitarist in the current music charts has inspired me nor my fellow Mansun friends and fans as much as himself, and no guitarist in the charts could match his creativity and will to please and deliver a, what can only be described as, "magical performance."
All the guys, remembered but severely missed, have countless numbers of fans behind them, to support, to enjoy, to live through, and to listen to just once more.

I'll admit that I am currently unaware of what 3/4 of Mansun do with themselves these days, but what could be better for the fans, the history of music, the charts, and themselves than to come back and stun us with their musical capability just one more time. They say all good things must come to an end, but I don't believe that for a second. What had indeed ended was merely the inspiring music of Mansun who, lyrically, instrumentally, vocally, musically and creatively put absolute shame on a listless number of bands invading our charts in the last few years.
