Matrox Parhelia Drivers for Linux

Dear Matrox,

This is a petition for you to support your Parhelia series hardware fully for the Unix style operating systems. (*BSD, Linux, etc.) We believe That this hardware has a strong potential in this environment. Not only at the professional level, but the consumer level as well.
Some quick examples of Professional level usage. Triple-head along with XV and fully functional OpenGL would be extremely useful in movie animations. Pixar (who created the great animation splendors; Toy Story 1 & 2, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc., and A Bug's Life) uses linux. http://news.com.com/2100-1001-983898.html. Also Industrial Light and Magic has switched their SGI's over to Linux. Not to mentioned ported most of their software to run natively in linux. http://www.linuxjournal.com/article.php?sid=6011.
If you watch the Making of Attack of the Clones, you will see that they already are using a dual-head monitor set up for their projects.

For Consumer level reasons. You must realize that the *nix operating system has been around for a long time, but only in the past few years have more people been adopting it for their desktop usage. Due to various reasons, either from cost or stability/security issues, people are making the switch. And with the consumers will come the software, and to power that software we will require hardware. And for that hardware to work properly, the consumer market must have full support of all available features of the hardware through stable drivers.
Features such as DPMS, especially on a set up with three monitors, is essential, and the current driver hasn't even been fitted with this basic functionality. Xv is very important as well, for displaying all sorts of multimedia.
Currently in the *nix market of video drivers, ATI and nVidia both have their issues, from difficult methods of installation, to random crashes (as reported on various forums). If Matrox could sweep in with the best driver support for the *nix OSs, then once again you could control a very fluxuating market.
This is an attempt to show you how many people that either own, or are looking to own a Parhelia series graphics adapter, but are very concerned about the current development and release of the driver. A fantastic peice of hardware without fantastic drivers is nothing but a pretty PCBoard.
