We, the citizens of America, fans of football, and believers in the American justice system are opposed to the outrageous and unjust treatment of Michael Vick, NFL QB for the Atlanta Falcons, for the following reasons:
1. Michael Vick has not been convicted of anything yet. An indictment does not mean that one is guilty. For PETA and other animal rights activist, and even US Senators - those who are suppose to uphold the "American Way"- to even suggest that Vick be released before conviction are disgracing the Bill of Rights and everything that America stands for.
2. The "American Way" needs to be preserved. Innocent until proven guilty.
3. We, the fans, should not have to be punished by not seeing one of the most exciting players play based on hearsay.
We, the undersigned, demand the rights guaranteed to every American citizen be upheld.

Michael Vick deserves due process, Also the NFL and the Falcons org. do not need to let PETA and anyone else strong arm them to act without him recieving due process. He maintains his innocents and should be allowed to play football unless he is convicted
