Mike Lion for Lachsa Mascot

The Los Angeles County High School for the Arts does not, as of now, have a mascot. Although LACHSA does not participate in organized sports, I believe that a mascot would be fitting. It does not have to be widely publicized, just something that can go on shirts, logos, etc. My humble suggestion for what this mascot should be is:
ME. Mike Lion.


I hereby officially submit myself into consideration for the official position of Mascot of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts.
Reasons why I should be mascot:

1. Original- I'm the one who came up with it.

2. Esthetically pleasing- The LACHSA Lions. It sounds great no matter how you twist it (ex. The Lions of LACHSA).

3. Best man for the job- I get good grades, I am committed to my art form, I support the school by going to shows, taking part in school events, and writing for the school newspaper. I am also very social, and know a great deal of the LACHSA public.

4. Average Joe- I am not someone special, just part of the school community, picking me as the mascot would show that anything is possible.

5. Land of opportunity- I came to the USA from Russia when I was 6. I didn't speak a word of English, and I never thought I would be attending as great a school as LACHSA. Becoming the symbol of the school would mean a great deal to me.

6. Sincerity- I truly believe that I am the most fit for this position. I would not be asking to be considered for it otherwise. I really think I can make a difference and to bring something new to the table.

I have listed the 6 reasons why I believe electing me mascot would be a good idea, I hope that after reading them you at least give my suggestion a thought.
