The Neopets Team can shut down the avatar scammers for good!

Now, if someone 'steals' an avatar item like FQD, a million np weapon, or MSPP, the one who stole it may get frozen, but the lender doesn't get the item back!

I think it would help us all out if
1. The thieves got frozen.
2. The avatar item was returned to the original owner upon this happening.

Now you might ask how do you keep the following scenario from happening:


Someone buys one of the avatar items and then the person who sold it reports them for 'stealing' it, thus getting the buyer frozen and the item back too.

Well, what have the editorials been saying lately? They say that you have extensive information about each account. Therefore, you could tell through neomails or messages posted on the boards the difference between a legitimate purchase and a lending situation. It might take a little while to sort it out.
