Dear Nintendo:
Please make Virtual Console games accessible (price-wise) to the mass market. Take the iTunes model, for example (99 cents for basic purchases).
We propose:
$0.99 for NES games.
$1.99 for SNES games.
$2.99 for N64 games.
$5 to $10 for new (simple) VC games.
Other publishers should set their own pricing. But as a first party, you can lead the way and show that selling old games IS a profitable business.
We fear that with the most recently announced prices of $5-$10 for old Nintendo games, many potential buyers will stay away, and many piraters of ROMs will continue to do so.

The pricing of these is ridiculous. I could buy games for my Snes and N64 for much cheaper then the VC games so why bother? Selling them for this much will just push more people into using illegal ROMS and the like.

Prices for the VC games are simply unreasonable. For less money, you can get actual cartridges on ebay or at gamestop.

I think that games that are over 10 years old should NOT be worth 5 dollars. I would get illegal roms if they are that expensive.

While the suggested price in the petition is a little on the low side, i believe that your price point for nes and snes games are way to high. Please lower your prices or I will continue to play my Roms instead of purchasing VC titles.
