Dear Sirs,
we the Libyan People appeal to you to recognize our representative of the Transitional National Council of Libya as the sole representative of Libya in OPEC.
We are against any representation of Libya in OPEC by any officials from Gaddafi's regime.
We remind you, that Gaddafi's regime has lost all legitemacy to rule or represent the people of Libya.
An application has been made by the International Criminal Court for his arrest and that of his son and a member of his government.
Gaddafi's government is using Libya's oil wealth to arm and recruit mercenaries to kill the people of Libya.
Surely, in accordance with its Statute, the mission of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) cannot contain nor support such a member within its folds.
