1. Bengali Nationalism.
2. Socialism and the law of social freedom.
3. Democracy and the law of human rights.
4. Secularism and the law of religious freedom.
However, after the political changes in 1975, major changes were made to the constitution. Most dangerous among those changes was demolishing secularism and the law of religious freedom and using Believe and dependency to the almighty God will be the basic of everything, which actually killed democracy and automatically made religious minorities as the 2nd class people of the country. Using the basic principle of secularism and the law of religious freedom , the constitution also prohibited the use of religion in politics and thus all sectarian religionist political parties lost their right to do any political activity. But with the change in 1975, sectarian religionist groups like Jamat-E-Islami and Muslim League, who played a villain role against the freedom of Bangladesh by collaborating with Pakistani army, got back their right to do political activities. Another change in the constitution was made by the Ershad government in 1988 relying on the changes of 1975, and it was declaring Islam as the national religion of Bangladesh. These sectarian behaviors of Bangladeshi constitution oppose the sovereignty of Bangladesh as a democratic peoples republic. Bangladeshi government and all major political parties of Bangladesh should realize the harm of this self contradict behavior of our constitution and its effects to the society. Our constitution is giving sectarian religionists to preach their ideologies, and the rise of Islamic terrorism is a result in the process. We all should recognize that Bangladesh is a peoples republic, not an Islamic state. Proper changes in the constitution must be done, Sectarianism must be demolished and the religious freedom of every Bangladeshi citizen should be recognized.
