A recent ombudsmans report regarding the scandal surrounding the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says that the OLG turned a blind eye to retailers who were claiming prizes that were not rightfully theirs to claim. Ombudsman Andre Marin found that unscrupulous retailers claimed tens of millions in jackpots over a 7 year period and that these retailers winnings went ignored by the agency thats supposed to regulate them, the OLG.
We the undersigned have been loyal customers of the Ontario lottery and demand compensation for this unfair practice. We feel it is only right that the OLG provide each family in Ontario with compensation in the amount of $1,000,000. This award will help regain our confidence in the OLG. We feel it is the right and responsible thing to do.
